You can rid yourself of much of your stress by using these easy to follow tips to reducing stress in your life.
#1 Decide what are the major reasons for you feeling stressed and jot them down in your diary or journal.
#2 Make a note of things which cause you the most stress in your journal. Also record how you dealt with the event in question and how you might deal with it differently next time.
#3 Next time you feel stress happening slow down, then reflect a little on why you feel stressed and then react accordingly.
#4 Put things that have happened in the past to the back of your mind and allow your future to reflect your current decisions.You can’t influence your past but you can change your future. This fact alone will allow you to face situations with more confidence.
#5 Always hope for the best in any situation this will help you approach each day and every task with a positive frame of mind.
#6 Don’t think you are the only one with problems there are many people who have less than you who may need your help. Helping others will make you feel more worthy and feel good about yourself.
#7 If you feel stressed take a deep breath and relax. Count down slowly from 1-100 breathing slowly until you feel calmer.Practise breathing exercises regularly.
#8 Surround yourself with beautiful things that make you feel happy and contented such as plants, flowers, nice pictures and spend a few moments admiring them.
#9 Pamper yourself with a bath with warm aromatic oils and scented candles. Or why not visit a spa for day and have a massage and a few body treatments to really help you chill out.
#10 Share any problems with family or friends but only if you trust them to keep your confidentiality other wise you’ll feel exploited.
#11 Don’t stay alone any more than you have to, visit family and friends and enjoy social events with them. Maybe take a group vacation if your schedule allows.
#12Â Keep your home and working area (even if you work from home tidy) it will stop you feeling over whelmed when things get out of hand and on top of you.
#13 When you have concerns about any health issues or your performance in the bedroom speak to your doctor straight away. He may suggest counselling, therapy or other forms of support.
#14 Eat well and ensure you keep to a proper diet. If the pressure from work stops you eating meals prepare food in advance so that you have time to enjoy it. Don’t feel bad about going out and eating in your favorite restaurant when you really need a lift.
#15 Don’t put off those tasks you have been dreading any longer. Seldom will you find that they are actually as bad as they are when your procrastinating about them. Start you day with a walk then a bath or shower and get dressed even on your days off.
