Although there are a wide selection of products claimed to help lose weight, however apart from weight loss pills and the like it is green tea that is probably one of the most famous alternative products that is widely promoted; this wonder herb contains ingredients which are still being researched in the west but green tea has been used to good effect in China and the Far East for hundred of years.
Green Tea and other health giving teas are most widely know for their antioxidant properties. As they are liquid , green tea weight loss supplements can be consumed like regular tea but unlike regular tea it is claimed it will help you burn calories much faster and effectively. However it is the toxin removal and laxative qualities that help with weight loss when taken regularly. Green tea is also claimed to enhance the metabolism which improves the burning of fat to energy process.
Green tea advocates say that green tea alone will not help you lose weight which is contrary to what most people are lead to believe from the hype some companies use to promote their products I believe Generation Tea provide a more reasoned explantation and useful information on the website to enable you to make and informed choice.
It is suggested and I see no real reason to argue with years of history that herbal teas such as green tea can be benefical as part of an over all healthy living plan and encourage weight loss when combined with good diet and exercise. This would seem a much better explanation of the benefits of green tea and other herbal teas which have become more main stream in the west.
It is suggested that as a beverage green tea can be drunk at any time of the day or night but as it has some laxative effects it may be desirable to limit consumption at least until your bowel adapts to the effects of the tea and any subsequent reaction should be under control in a few days. You may also come across green tea which has other ingredients added to it the most common is ginseng which generally will have a beneficial effect however before buying any tea product make sure you check the labelling carefully to avoid teas which may contain other substances which could trigger adverse reaction. We should not ingore the fact that this product is not usually produced in the US and subject to the same controls.
One very successful combination of green tea products is that which includes ginseng root extract. Ginseng helps by adding minerals and vitamins that will increase its efficiency and detoxification properties.
