Bloating, commonly caused by wind, constipation or fluid retention, can cause havoc with your middle and make your favorite sexy little number feel tight and uncomfortable.
If you do suffer from this condition, try these tips in the 24 hours before your big night out.
The night before. Drink two large glasses of hot water with lemon to stimulate your kidneys and aid fluid elimination.
Before bed. Drink a Parsley and dill tonic to eliminate any wind. Put a tablespoon of chopped parsley and a teaspoon of crushed dill seeds into a glass and add boiling water. Stir well, cover and leave to stand for 10 minutes, then pour through a strainer and sip.
For Breakfast. First, drink a glass of hot water with lemon. Then eat a small bowl of oats made with half milk and half water.
For Lunch. Have an apple, a large bunch of grapes and a ripe banana, and drink a another glass of hot water with lemon.
In the afternoon. Drink at least two cups of fennel tea to help prevent wind. Eat six dates to get a fiber and iron fix.
Before you go out. Have another glass of parsley tonic and a cup of slimmery elm food, which is an effective antacid and digestive protector. Mix a teaspoon into a paste with cold water, top up with boiling water and honey and sip slowly. If you have time fill the bath and soak in hot water, add five drops of grapefruit oil mixed with sunflower oil. The grapefruit works as a great duretic and tonic.
