Flat Belly Diet Foods That Work Miracles

Concerns about having a flat belly diet is one the main reasons people go on any sort of diet initially. This is for 2 reasons the first being a need for a flat belly diet because you are worried about looking ugly in your favorite top or pants and secondly you may have read that this type of fat is the most harmful to your health.

A flat belly diet is in reality a myth as you can’t effectively target weight loss but some sorts of diets and foods promote loss around the belly more than others.

Some doctors say the reasons for so many American men and women having fat bellies and needing to go on a flat belly diet is a combination of four factors.

1. Poor diet and eating the wrong type of foods which encourage storing of fat and subsequently lead to obesity and fat belly problems.

2. Lack of exercise, I know you have heard it all before but to some extent you can almsot eat anything if you exercise enough but very few Americans do any exercise at all and inspite of the numerous headlines in the press and media to increase exercise the amount of people doing ANY exercise is still very low.

3. Lack of sleep, it is said that on average we need 8 hours sleep in every 24 hours but in the stress filled world we live in today combined with the lack of exercise very few people actually get the required amount. This again leads to the metabolism being less effective which leads to the storing of fat.

4. Stressing to much, most people because of lack of sleep and general competitive working environment, worries about money, job security and life in general most people are stressed and don’t know how to relax properly this again creates a circle as this leads to lack of sleep … You get the idea.

By reversing these elements you can help improve your overall metabolism and also your general and also you life expectancy.

New research is indicating that previous understandings about the effects of fat may have been a little optimistic and it is now thought carrying excess belly fat could be a far more serious health risk than in the past. It is thought those with a pear shape (ie fatter in the middle) are more vulerable to weight related problems than those who are apple shaped.

Some doctors believe the evidence demonstrates that those with more excess belly fat are far more likely to get ceratin types of cancer because the fat cells around the belly are more active than those found else where. This ‘activity’ can lead to un healthy hormone levels which promotes cancers.

If you are at all concerned you should as your doctor to measure your waist to hip ratio to see if you are above average and thereby at greater risk
