If you one of the over 2000 people a day searching for the ‘3 hour diet jorge cruise’ in your favorite search engine then you will be pleased to know I have decided to se what all the fuss is about with yet another diet plan which is being heavily endorsed by it’s band of celebrities.

The essence of this weight-loss plan from creator and fitness pro Jorge Cruise involves eating every three hours including three main meals, two snacks and one small treat. It includes an extensive food lists to help you create your own meals, and pages of recipes and suggestions for snacks and healthy options at chain restaurants.
Cruise promises that by watching not only what you eat, but when, you’ll keep your metabolism stoked, increase your energy levels and lose two pounds a week which is pretty much realistic for most dieters.
Cruise promises to help readers lose two pounds every week, without counting calories or depriving themselves of carbs.
For those of you who have read the Dreambody Now System there is a massive simularity between the plans and this has been available for more than 5 years so this could hardly be claiming to be new but of course the fame of Jorge Cruise is not in question or his teachings.
Jorge states “it’s all about timing”, Jorge Cruise who is famed as the USA Today fitness columnist, whose diet advice has been featured everywhere from O and Prevention to the Today show and Good Morning America.
Cruise theorizes that if a person allows more than three hours to pass between eating, a body turns on its natural “starvation protection mechanism,” which causes the body to consume muscle this to some extent is probably a little over simplification but may have truth. When this happens, one’s resting metabolism is adversely affected which isn’t quite the same thing.
In an attempt to eliminate his main competition the likes of Atkins and South Beach Diets, Jorge Cruise dedicates an entire chapter of his latest book decrying the use of low -carbs which I have to say I support although not without some reservations.
He claims they actually cause people to gain more weight in the long run which is almosty certainly true as few people maintain these diets and they become confused. Another negative of low-carb diets is they tend to be quite effective short term but few people understand the maintenance phase of the program.
Along with recommended diet and exercise plans, Cruise provides readers with 30 “timelines,” charts they should fill out every morning at breakfast. This will certainly help keep you focused which is probably a major reason this type of weight loss system will be pretty effective.
These charts include space to write down what time each meal (or snack) will take place that day and what each will consist of (every meal must contain a balance of carbohydrates, fat and proteins). Just common sense eating really.
To assist readers determine which foods fall into which categories, and how much of them they must eat, Cruise, who is also AOL’s weight loss coach, provides recipes and “The All New Cruise Down Plate,” a twist on the FDAÂ food pyramid.
Although Cruise tends to oversimplify, this is overall one of the better diet books to hit the market and should be taken seriously inspite of all the associated celebrity hype. It is packed full of success stories photos and plenty of optimistic energy Jorge Cruise style.
The great thing about this book is it actually works and after 28 days you should have expected to lose around 10 pounds possibly more. There are no major requirements although Jorge Cruise does suggest the use of some supplements which I can see the cost mounting up pretty quickly.
The way of exercising recommended by the book could also be pretty effective with a recommendation of 10,000 steps per day so sales of pedometers should rocket as a result.
You need to take a while planning the meals and of course preparing them but those with the patience to do this should see good results. Compared with some programs this is easy to follow and should not involve huge additional expense in my view worthy of trying.
